Bulwark Assault

Bulwark Assault is an FPS where player can only turn in 90-degree intervals, the more they move, the more their damage output increases. It is set on a Space Station which has been invaded by Robot-Aliens. You play as the Bulwark, an elite soldier, who is tasked to clear out and deactivate the Space Station's offensive capabilities by any means necessary.

A big inspiration for this game was the board game Space Hulk, as all movement takes place on a grid, so the 90-degree turns are a way to mimic that in a first-person scenario. For this project I spent two weeks on the mechanics and a week on the level design.
